Garden structures typically include gazebos, arbors, trellises, pergolas, ramadas and patio covers.
Some have solid roofs while others are open beam that allow sunlight.
An arbor is basically a shortened form of pergola and serves more as a covered, often arched
gateway delineating one area of the garden from another.
This white wooden lattice style structure would be ideal for climbing vines whereas the lightweight
arbor shown below is used simply to show the entrance and exit points to the labyrinth.

The arbors used in this labyrinth are purposely selected to be subordinate
to the labyrinth itself so as to not overpower the focal point although they are important
features that show where the entrance is.
